How To File For Homestead Exemption in GA 2018 - Deadline is April 1st, 2019
Filing for Homestead Exemption helps save you money on your property taxes. In order to file for homestead exemption in GA, homeowners may need to provide the following:
· Warranty Deed or Closing Settlement Statement
· Driver’s license with property address listed
You will need to own the property and reside in the property as your legal residence as of January 1st of that tax year.
